As fan of the longtime iconic animated series, Adventure TIme, know, the entire show is set in a post-Apocalyptic version of Earth, where The Land of Ooo has risen up in the wake of some sort of great calamity. A few characters have survived since those years due to magic and/or vampirism (vampires basically ARE magic, right?), as shown in one of the series' most acclaimed episodes.
Therefore, all of our popular culture DID exist in this universe, and in the latest in Oni's awesome Adventure Time comics, Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki (a TWO-time Eisner Best Writer award winner!) and My Little Pony artist Brenda Hickey are going to have the characters from Adventure Time revisit some iconic movie classics...just, you know, with their own particular spin on things!
Check out this CBR exclusive preview of Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature #1, which is out next month (and is on final order cutoff this Monday)!

What Happens in the Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature Preview Pages?
The preview pages set the concept for the series up well. The gang all get together to go see a movie, but once they are at the theater, they all want to see different movies. So they all split up, and sure enough, each of their respective movies turns out to be a parody of classic movies that happen to feature variations of the main characters.
In Jake's movie, he watches a 1940s-style screwball comedy starring himself and Princess Bubblegum. The pages are an interesting cross between It Happened One Night and also early Walt Disney animated films. It's a blast, and this is only the beginning! Check it out all out next month, and tell your local comic book store to preorder it before Monday!
