Hawkman Special v2 #1, 2008 - A cosmic being called the Demiurge reveals the truth behind Hawkman's past and origins. He also hints at future events and other revelations before leaving him to his own thoughts. Jim Starlin's script is made more potent by his drawings. Al Milgrom does a superlative job with the inks, adding detail where needed. Layout and pacing are among Starlin's strengths, which are bolstered by multiple two-page spreads.
