Growing up in rural Iowa as a reluctant reader, it all changed when he started reading the original Fantastic Four by Lee/Kirby. Now Austin can't stop reading. He has written about comics for Comic Book Yeti and he has also written tons of indie comics, best known for Big Guns Stupid Rednecks.

Marvel has finally revealed the insane lineup in Doctor Doom's new team, the Avengers of Doom. While the already revealed members make the team impressive, Doom is traveling the multiverse to recruit.

In Infinity Roar #5, written by Gerry Duggan, with art by Javier Garrón from Marvel Comics, Doom's new version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes is shown off before they head out to recruit their final members. The team features all kinds of different characters from the larger comic mythology. Monsters, mutants, heroes, and murderers are showcased in Doom's new team.

Man-Thing, The Punisher, The Human Torch, Emma Frost, Kang the Conqueror, Kagelmacher, Miles Morales, and Ghost Rider are all shown to be a part of Avengers of Doom. The members of the team they are going to recruit to round things out make the team even more epic. They are facing off against Godzillas from different universes, leading right into the upcoming Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse sequel series.

The reason for Doom's new team is that of necessity. The team he is building takes on Godzilla, being controlled by Knull. A massively epic villain needs an equally unbelievable team of heroes to battle it. If this lineup doesn't pique readers' interest, they will need to check for a pulse.

Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse hits stores this July, and its official solicitation gives readers an exciting synopsis. "GODZILLA UNLEASHED, nowhere is safe! An unholy alliance between KNULL and GODZILLA conquers UNIVERSE 616 — and now DOOM, SPIDER-MAN, KANG, EMMA FROST, GHOST RIDER, THE PUNISHER, MAN-THING and more stand on the edge of annihilation! When DOOMSTADT rips across dimensions to capture a kaiju capable of stopping the KING OF THE MONSTERS, the team collides with MECHA FIENDS, MULTIVERSAL KAIJU and a deadly RED SKULL in ADAMANTIUM armor. But as universes burn, an unexpected ally may hold the key to survival. A bombastic, continuity-shaking launch that shreds the Multiverse in TRUE KAIJU-CRUSHING FASHION!"

Knull, who is often referred to as the King of the Symbiotes, is a relatively new villain. Making his first official debut in 2018 in Venom (Vol. 4) #3, written by Donny Cates with art by Ryan Stegman, Knull has been a part of massive storylines since his creation.

"Every great bad guy needs a cogent point you can get your head around, and for Knull, it's galactic gentrification. He was there before there were stars in the sky and everything belonged to him. This was all supposed to be his, and then the Celestials came, light came, and life came. So, he created an army to try and push that back. Then his army of children rebelled against him and imprisoned him for billions of years. Knull is a horrible, wretched being, but his goals are pretty clear. He wants none of us to be here. [Laughs] He wants to go back to the dark, which, in his mind, rightfully belongs to him," Cates said in an interview with CBR.

Infinity Roar #5 is now available to read wherever comics are found.
