One of the best Dune prequels of all time is about to return ahead of the final chapter in writer-director Denis Villeneuve's cinematic epic, and fans won't want to miss out on it.
This September, more than three months before Dune: Part Three makes its way into theaters, BOOM! Studios will be re-releasing the criminally underrated Dune: House of Corrino Vol. 1 with a brand-new trade paperback. This upcoming collection brings all three issues of the hit limited series together for the first time in nearly two years and serves as the perfect addition to any die-hard Dune fan's collection.

The official solicit synopsis for Dune: House of Corrino Vol. 1 from BOOM! Studios reads, "As the Royal Family, House Corrino was once the most powerful house in the universe, playing a crucial role in events surrounding the major political players that will change the shape of the balance of power in Dune forever. House Harkonnen increases their pressure on the Fremen, scaling up the conflict in ways that threaten even more bloodshed, while the Bene Gesserit plot the course for their would-be messiah, and pull the strings of the fateful mother of the Kwisatz Haderach."
Co-written by Brian Herbert, the son of the late, great Dune creator Frank Herbert himself, Dune: House of Corrino was the third entry in BOOM! Studios' prequel trilogy. Originally released in 2024, Dune: House of Corrino largely adapts the 2001 novel of the same name and takes place well before the events of the first novel. Set after the events of Dune: House Atreides and Dune: House Harkonnen, Dune: House of Corrino sees the ongoing conflict between the likes of House Harkonnen and House Corrino finally come to a brutal, if ultimately temporary, conclusion.
What To Expect From Dune: Part Three.
Image via Warner Bros. PicturesAs much as Dune: House of Corrino might be a major departure from what fans of the franchise have come to expect, so too will Dune: Part Three be when it arrives in theaters later this year. Writer-director Denis Villeneuve himself previously opened up about the shift in tone between the upcoming film and the previous two entries in the series, noting that Dune: Part Three is "A more packed, action-packed and more dense film, more muscular than the two others I would say, and it's a movie that takes place like many years after."
Shortly after the release of Dune: Part Three, fans will get yet another opportunity to dive deep into Frank Herbert's sprawling sci-fi epic with The Art and Soul of Dune: Part Three. Published by Simon and Schuster, The Art and Soul of Dune: Part Three comes packed with 240 pages of behind-the-scenes interviews and discussions with author Stefanie Broos, Dune trilogy producer Tanya Lapointe, and other pieces of "exclusive access to the cast and crew" of the film.
Dune: House of Corrino Vol. 1 from BOOM! Studios goes on sale Sept. 8. Dune: Part Three is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Dec. 18.
