One of the greatest Power Rangers of all time is coming to life in a truly Morphenomenal new figure.
Fan-favorite toy and collectibles company Threezero has officially unveiled its next awe-striking entry in its FigZero figure line in the form of the Red Power Ranger 1:6 scale figure that perfectly recreates Jason Lee Scott's look from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return. This stunning figure is currently available for pre-order for $185.00 USD and is expected to arrive as early as March 2027.
FigZero's Red Power Ranger FigZero, Up Close and Personal
The new Red Ranger 1:6 Scale figure stands at approximately 12.2 inches tall and features 34 points of articulation. The figure also boasts four sets of interchangeable hands for increased poseability, as well as the Red Ranger's iconic Power Sword and Blade Blaster, the latter of which is fully convertible into its blade form.
The official product description for the FigZero line Red Ranger 1:6 Scale figure from Threezero reads, "The Red Power Ranger's uniform is meticulously tailored with unique original textures. It includes the Red Power Ranger's signature helmet and suit, utility belt with holster, cross-body belt with scabbard, shoulder armor, mid-length gloves, and boots. To bring the look to life, the entire ensemble is finished with weathered paint effects and paired with a distressed fabric cape, radiating a realistic, battle-worn aesthetic."
The Power Rangers' Return to Comics, Explained
Image via BOOM! StudiosCo-written by the original Pink Ranger herself, Amy Jo Johnson, alongside Matt Hotson, with illustrations by Nico Leon and colors by Dono Sánchez-Almara, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return was released by BOOM! Studios in 2024 introduced readers to a whole new vision of the original team. Set years after the classic Rangers disbanded in the wake of an utterly disastrous victory over the likes of Rita Repulsa, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return saw the original heroes band together once more after Jason abruptly disappears.
Upon its release, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return was hailed as a delightful and unexpected, if admittedly grim, new addition to the wider franchise. Over the course of the series' four-issue run, readers followed along while the story of Tommy Oliver's disappearance, Jason's abduction, and the child of some of the Rangers' oldest foes unfolded in truly unforgettable fashion.
Perhaps the most intriguing new element to be introduced regarding any one member of the classic Mighty Morphin lineup in BOOM! Studios' Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return was Jason's trajectory as a Red Ranger out of retirement. In the series, the classic heroes hung up their Morphers after accidentally destroying a portion of the Moon itself. At least that was until Jason, who became a firefighter in his adult life, was driven to pick up his old mantle once more to combat a series of brazen arsons.
