Titled Superman: The Cleveland Connection, the exhibit was developed through a partnership between the Siegel & Shuster Society and the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. The installation traces the Man of Steel's origins to Cleveland, where writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster created Superman before his debut in Action Comics No. 1 in 1938, a milestone widely credited with launching the modern superhero era. The exhibit's opening installation features enlarged reproductions of iconic Superman comic book covers, including the character's first appearance, along with artwork from creators with Cleveland ties.
