The Gallery – Take a Look at Some of the Amazing Art from April and May’s In-Person Gosh! Comics and Broken Frontier Drink and Draw Evenings!

4 weeks ago 26

Last year the Gosh! Comics and Broken Frontier Drink and Draw – an event that has been running in multiple versions online and in-person since the summer of 2015 – returned to real world meet-ups in the Royal George pub in Soho, London. The evening involves two guest artists and a cartoonist-in-residence (the incomparable Mark Stafford) who set three drawing theme challenges for attendees to interpret over the course of the evening. A format I came up with 11 years ago and which has served us well over the years.

This year we thought it might be a nice idea to share some of the art from the night here each month at BF. Our April guests were Olivia Sullivan and Hamish Steele with myself and Gosh’s Will Humberstone hosting. In May it was the turn of Candace Purwin and Katriona Chapman. If you were there at either and want to add your illos to the gallery please get in touch with me here.
