Back in the 1980s, a conservative pundit was asked if he was bothered by the fact that liberals constantly called him a Nazi. “I take it as a compliment,” he replied. “After all, no one fantasizes about being tied up and ravished by someone dressed as a liberal.”
Recent events are proving the fundamental truth of this quip. We’ve recently learned that the Southern Poverty Law Center, supposedly one of the leading opponents of racism and hate crimes, is also one of the leading funders of those movements. Indeed, one of its officials not only paid more than $1.2 million to a prominent neo-Nazi, she also slept with him and they maintained a joint back account. Because of this, The Savant, Apple TV’s eternal about-to-be-released thriller starring Jessica Chastain, can now claim to be based on a true story. And it’s coming soon, perhaps again and again!
When Nazis Are Okay
The SPLC isn’t the only woke organization with situational ethics regarding Nazis. The Democrat Party nominee for Maine’s U.S. Senate seat, Graham Platner, until recently had a Death’s Head tattoo on his chest. He made up a moronic lie that he didn’t know what it stood for, which is weird because that would mean he’s never watched a single WW II movie. Seriously, it’s right there on the SS uniform. Kind of hard to miss, especially over 18 years..
But hey, even Nazis are okay if they hate Donald Trump, so he has the full endorsement of party elders like Chuck Schumer.
That’s the great thing about the woke left – anything is permissible if it serves “the cause.” What is the cause? Well, that’s the fun part. It varies depending on what brings the most power. Back in 2015, protecting female students from sexual assault and creepy men trying to watch them bathe was a moral imperative, but now women must submit to “trans women” waving their junk at them in the shower. It’s justification by rage alone. In either case, Nazi support is permissible.
Now THAT’s how to cover up your Nazi tattoo and win in politics! The funny thing about Graham Platner is that when he’s not practicing Onanism in porta-potties, he seems to have no problem reeling in the ladies. The forbidden tattoo makes him a “bad boy,” which a lot of women find irresistible.
There’s nothing particularly new about this. Gone with the Wind’s Scarlett O’Hara (Vivian Leigh) famously wanted the aristocratic and honorable Ashley Wilkes (Leslie Howard), but the caddish Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) was the one who really turned her on. Indeed, the scene in the classic 1939 film where Rhett ravishes Scarlett in a drunken rage is highly problematic from a feminist perspective, doubly so when we see Leigh purring contentedly in the afterglow of the following morning. Sometimes the ladies like it rough and naughty, and it’s hard to get naughtier than a Nazi.

The Savant Unchained!
That’s why is it so awesome that Apple appears to be backing away from their decision to cancel it, and is now set to release The Savant, though it should be recategorized as a satiric comedy rather than a drama-thriller. Maybe they can work some laugh tracks into it.
Seriously, the whole concept that we have this earnest, conscientious liberal woman in an interracial marriage who would somehow be seduced by a guy like, well, Graham Platner, is a pretty strong endorsement of White Nationalism. Yeah, your nice, safe, obedient and politically correct brown husband supports you in every way, but here’s this dangerous blond-haired blue-eyed Norse god! A woman has her needs! This is Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore as filmed by Leni Riefenstahl, Triumph of the Will turned into a romantasy.
Dare I accuse Hollywood writers of writing what they know? It’s kind of interesting to juxtapose this against their other recent political film, One Battle After Another. In that tale, it’s the Nazi who secretly has the hots for a brown woman, who also is the object of Leo DiCaprio’s attention.

I confess that the story doesn’t interest me nearly as much as the promotional clips showing a very pregnant woman firing machineguns without any regard for the health of her unborn child. This once again demonstrates the complete and total ignorance of Hollywood and liberals in general. Anyone with a cursory knowledge of firearms knows that no range officer would ever let that happen, but it’s all part of the girlboss fantasy. Banging Nazis and damaging unborn children are both on brand.
Will I watch The Savant? Of course not, but the Youtubers will, and they could probably use the traffic.
