So, you need some more incentive to crash the wedding event of the season? Look no further and check out the “first look” trailer for Titan Comics’ graphic novel Worst Man.

It takes a true pro to cause so much chaos, and Radcliffe Raleigh is the perfect Worst Man for the job. He’s been hired by an enigmatic tech tyrant, Valentina McEllignott, to put a stop to her daughter’s upcoming nuptials, and no price is too high. Although if Rad can’t deliver the goods and wreck things, he’s going to have to pay — with his life!

Keeping PRIDE season at the forefront, Titan Comics’ upcoming release, Worst Man (which is released on August 25th), is the latest offering from the Eisner and GLAAD-nominated creative talents behind DC’s Harley Quinn, Brandt&Stein. In the first panel, the graphic novel introduces readers to Radcliffe, and the unique predicament he’s put himself in reads like a Hollywood romcom.

He’s the worst man in the title. Having been unlucky in his own life, Rad has dedicated himself to making a career of breaking things up. The aforementioned Valentina McElligott has hired him to ruin her daughter’s destination wedding, and Rad is pulling out all the stops — that is, until he runs afoul of the “best man,” and suddenly, Rad finds he’s conflicted. Perhaps love does conquer all.

With a cast of characters that reads like a “who’s who of prime suspects,” there is someone inside the pages of Worst Man that will resonate immediately with the reader. Perhaps you aren’t a “Radcliffe Raleigh”, but you might be a “Chris,” the brawny, hunky type, and if you’re a “Valentina McElligott” — well then — you’re on your own. A colorful assortment of personalities spills out like the contents of a bag of sour candy.

Whomever you’re rooting for, and hopefully your heart is in the right place, Worst Man is unbridled in appeal. It’s impossible not to fall for the graphic novel’s lead, Rad, even though he’s got a penchant for poor decision-making. Cut him some slack. The slapstick appeal and quick wit brought on by the expertly crafted Brandt&Stein make this a very charming romp. Worst Man is truly an exciting addition to the diverse, LGBTQIA+-centric comics that continue to champion diversity across popular culture.
