Suspense v1 #1, 1949 - A pair of grave robbers prepare to leave the cemetery with prize. Some patrolling villagers see them and give chase. Matt Baker is known for his romance works during this period, but does a nice job with this horror tale. There's an elegance to his drawings overall and his opening scene sets a gloomy tone without being gruesome. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema, Chu F. Hing and Bob Powell.
