In the preview pages, we see Doctor Doom determining what he will do to Reed Richards in the Astral Plane (he said he wouldn't KILL Reed, but that's ALL he promised. Things don't look good for Reed). However, at the same time, Valeria Richards and her brother, Franklin, are dwelling over the fact that their parents are in a lot of trouble.
Valeria has a unique connection with Doom, including the fact that he NAMED her. She helped bring him into the Future Foundation years ago, and they have always remained close. That connection has led Valeria to decide to contact her. She builds a device that allows her to contact Doom, and even in the middle of all of this, he draws Valeria into the Astral Plane to talk to her.
What she will SAY to him will be revealed next week in One World Under Doom #8!
